Crunchy Chicken Salad

Hi there folks, I am going to share a simple, nutritious recipe that is delicious and will assist you with your health and fitness goals. Since I know many of you are busy and do not always have a lot of time to cook your own meals, I am going to always try to provide you Quick, Nutritious and Delicious recipes.

So lets get started 

Ingredients:

4      stalks celery
1      bell pepper
1      sweet onion
2      full size carrots
1      cup of mayonnaise
1/2   teaspoon red pepper
1/2   teaspoon of Lawry's season salt
2      chicken breast
         bay leaves

Cooking Instructions (60 minutes)

  1. Heat oven to 350
  2. Season thawed chicken to taste and place in oven pan on top of the bay leaves and place in oven for 20 minutes each side. Keeping the bay leaves beneath the breast when turning.
  3. Finely chop the onions, bell peppers and celery and place in large bowl. Make sure you will have room to stir without spillage over the sides.
  4. Shave the carrots well and cut them in quarters. Place the quarters in a food processor and turn on high until minced.
  5. Add the carrots to the bowl along with the mayonnaise, red pepper and season salt and mix well.
  6. Once the chicken is cooked let it cool. and chop the breast into cubes. Add to the bowl and mix well. 
  7. Eat and Enjoy
So there it is folks, protein (60g) , which is essential to your health as it increases your body's ability to sustain or grow muscle. Muscle of course is essential to stability and increases your ability to burn more fat.

 In addition there are a variety of healthy carbohydrates that also contain fiber. This will help your digestion as well as keep you feeling satisfied longer thus decreasing the urge to snack.
