As a Certified Personal Fitness Trainer and Nutritional Consultant, weight training, nutrition and aerobics are the focus of my personal activity however I am not limited in my ability to train my clients in various areas of wellness including but not limited to exercise, nutrition, shopping health, disposing of barriers caused by clutter . Utilizing a variety of inexpensive and mobile equipment I am able to effectively train in the home, office or other location where the customer is comfortable. Their comfort in terms of the venue and trust in their trainer is important for success.

Just as important, I meet you where you are in terms of your current health and fitness goals. You do not have to be a former jock or have any familiarity with exercise and training. I will show you how to train your body for a successful journey towards your wellness. Understanding all of the components of wellness is essential to anyone's success and it takes time, effort and commitment but is well within the reach of anyone who is ambulatory and some who aren't depending on the degree of disability.

Another important aspect of this journey is the attitude of the customers and the trainer and like anything else attitude has a major impact on your ability to succeed. This includes believing in yourself and your trainer. Attitude has a second component as well and that is determination and commitment to a process. Understanding that the journey is a process and will work if you commit to yourself and the goals you set. Part of meeting customers where they are is for them to set their own goals. My role will be to be to teach, train, and motivate you so you reach them.

Positive attitude does not happen by itself and although one may start out with a very positive attitude it is important that your trainer help you to stay positive. A key to doing this is taking the over arching goal and breaking it up into smaller milestones so that success is not determined by one big goal but many small attainable successes that become the stepping stones for reaching the main goal. Frequently weight loss is the only stated goal and the focus is on diets and gimmicks that make promises they cannot keep. Whether a product or workout gimmick, the promises they make are way over the top.

When the goal narrows to weight loss only it limits the ability to see the other areas where success is achieved. The fact that someone who is not in the best of health decided to do something about it is a marker of success because just the act of getting up and moving is healthier than sitting and doing nothing. Consistency should always be one of the milestones as well as any positive changes in diet no matter how minimal. These are just a few and for each person the milestones are individually assigned depending upon their health history.
